Now, the recovery timeline can vary a bit depending on the individual and the complexity of the procedure, but in general, you’re looking at around 2-3 weeks of downtime. In my case, I had the surgery done in Istanbul, and I’d say the first week was the trickiest, with some swelling, bruising, and discomfort. But by the second week, things started to improve quite a bit, and by the third week, I was feeling pretty much back to normal.
One thing I’d recommend is to really listen to your surgeon’s instructions and take it easy during that initial recovery period. Avoid any strenuous activity, and be gentle with your nose as it heals. It’s also a good idea to plan for some time off work or school, just to give your body the chance to rest and recover properly.
Overall, the recovery process was manageable for me, and I’m really happy with the results. But of course, everyone’s experience can be a bit different, so it’s always best to have an open conversation with your surgeon about what to expect. I only took 3 weeks for full recovery on my own experience, I went to Turkey for the surgery as my friends advised me that Turkey has the best surgeons for rhinoplasty, I did the consultation and the surgeon decided we will make the surgery after 2 days, The surgery took around one hour, The surgeon put packs on my nose to avoid any bleeding and i went to another appointment after one week, They took them off and I felt really better, after 3 weeks I felt full recovery and the shape of my nose was perfect , I like Turkey for such experience and I respect surgeons there as they really know how to give you the perfect nose shape .
