Turkey has some top-notch eye clinics, but there are also some dodgy operators out there, so you’ve got to do your due diligence.
Another thing to consider is the overall quality of care and follow-up support. From what I’ve heard, the post-op care in Turkey can be a bit hit or miss, which is a bit concerning when you’re talking about something as delicate as your eyesight.
Personally, I’m still on the fence about whether I’d be willing to take the risk for the sake of the cost savings. It’s a tough call, but I figure I’d rather pay a bit more and have the peace of mind of knowing I’m in good hands, you know?
