Same here! A couple years ago I went to Istanbul, and thought that if I was there anyway I might as well get my teeth done. And let me tell you, it was one of the best things I’ve ever done.
The clinics were amazing – really modern with all the latest equipment and really highly skilled dentists. They were so thorough; more thorough than anything like that over here. And cheap! I had a few fillings and a crown done and it didn’t cost much at all.
But what stuck with me most was just how lovely it all was. The staff were so nice and friendly, they talked through everything with me which put me at ease straight away – I’ve never felt more looked after! It wasn’t like going to the dentist at home at all (and i don’t mind the dentist!). Plus of course being in Istanbul is an incredible experience too.
Honestly, if you’re thinking about getting your teeth done in Turkey, do it. Just make sure you find a good clinic (there are plenty out there) with proper experienced dentists, and bear in mind where’s worth visiting while you’re out there too – trust me on this one!
I’m a dentist assistant, you can ask me.
